CEF Scholarship Application Deadline Delayed to May 1st

Given the current closure of school campuses, the Corbett Education Foundation has moved the scholarship application deadline to May 1, 2020. All applications packets should be mailed via the U.S. postal system to our address of 35800 E. Historic Columbia River Highway, Corbett, OR, 97019 and bear a cancellation stamp of no later than the revised deadline. Electronic submissions are not accepted. We will continue to provide updates via our website and the school district’s newsletter as time passes.

Members of the Corbett High School Class of 2020 and graduates of the past five years interested in receiving a scholarship for the 2020-2021 academic year from the Corbett Education Foundation should direct questions to dgranberg@corbetteducationfoundation.org. Be advised, this mailbox is not monitored on a continuous basis, so it may take time to reply. Detailed procedures and forms can be found on our website at . Kaiser Permanente Health Care Career Scholarship – Register by December 8th

2018-2019 Kaiser Permanente Health Care Career Scholarship

We are pleased to announce the eleventh year of the Kaiser Permanente Health Care Career Scholarship Program! This year, we will continue to offer a scholarship to at least one��qualified��student at each��.�� In addition, up to 25 percent of the scholarships awarded will be for $5,000 or $10,000.��The deadline to apply is��Friday, December 15, 2018, 5 p.m. PST.��

See below for key details. In addition, mid to late September,�� your school will receive packets containing posters and materials to help inform students about the scholarship.

NOTE: Registration for the application will close on��December 8, one week ahead of the submission deadline (Dec. 15) to ensure that applicants have time to successfully complete required tasks.

TEACHER/COUNSELOR NOMINATION:

Applicants need only one recommendation in the form of a nomination from a teacher or counselor.��As soon as the applicant has entered the teacher/counselor nominator’s email address into the application, the nominator will receive an email with instructions for confidentially submitting the nomination online.��The applicant will not be able to submit his/her application until the nominator has submitted the nomination. ��Click��for nomination instructions.

INTERVIEWS:

We will continue to interview only those applicants being considered for the full spectrum of award amounts ($2,000, $5,000, and $10,000). Students invited to interview are not guaranteed a scholarship in any amount. Students not invited to interview may still be under consideration for a $2,000 scholarship.
